Music is an important part of my family's everyday experience. I grew up listening to the music of the 70s, 80s, spiritual songs, patriotic songs, and many more. At a very early age, I was introduced to guitar, keyboard, and drums. A life-changing moment happened when in grade sixth we had to opt for an instrument and I opted for the bamboo flute much to the surprise of my family but , they supported and encouraged me. There was no looking back after this and I started formal training in bamboo flute. Knowledge of Ragas helped me understand music at a deeper level. The more I practiced my bamboo flute more I connected with it passionately.

Being part of the school orchestra for 4 years helped me in becoming disciplined and l learned to commit to continued practice. I honed the integral skill of working together with a group.

College life and interacting with like-minded peer groups provided a whole new world of musical experiences. I scored the music for the short films made by the film society of my college and was also elected the Vice President of the Music Society.

An incredible new beginning happened in 2017 when I met Paddy, a Jazz pianist and an educator, and started learning jazz. That is also when I bought a saxophone and started jamming with various artists. A year later I was asked to do session work with many different artists from various musical backgrounds and solo shows. I also got the chance to play at the international jazz day celebration held at the Piano Man Jazz Club in 2018, which was recognized by the UN.

After graduating from Delhi University I joined Sri Aurobindo College of Arts and Communication for pursuing a Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering. I continue to perform with various bands and other artists in the Delhi music circuit .
