Our Name is Our Virtue

In Western music, an octave is represented as Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So La,Ti and in Indian Classical music as Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni. The one thing common in both these forms of music is the term given to the second degree or the supertonic. My name Rishabh or Re means the second note of the octave or saptak. My musical journey has taken me on the path of learning and exploring both Indian and Western forms and I wish my journey never ends…..
